Drilling Engineering

Perhaps more than ever, due to the low, prolonged oil price, Drilling Engineering has become even more important than it ever was. Drilling Engineers need to achieve the well’s objectives in the minimum time / at the lowest cost. This requires that the engineer not only knows about the latest in terms of tools, technology and practices, but also that he / she understands how such things may apply to the well being designed (e.g. MPD, new drilling fluids etc.). Just a few days in the classroom or following an E-Learning course can make all the difference to well design, well delivery and overall well cost.
